A pair of highly pyritised ammonite fossils of the species Crucilobiceras densinodulum from the world-famous Jurassic Coast beach of Charmouth, Dorset UK.
The fossils measure 13 mm (0.5 inches) across. They have been chosen as a matched pair that are of the same size and quality, making them ideal foe jewellery purposes. The ammonite shells are very well preserved with great detail in the ribbing. They have a beautiful pyritic metallic shine.
These pyrite ammonites have long been used to create natural jewellery and look amazing in the flesh.
Around 196 million years old, this fossil would make a wonderful addition to any collection.
